Technology Opportunities Report is the final stage of the Impact of Technology (Tableau) experience.

After exploring opportunities across organisational units, occupation categories, occupations, tasks, and technologies, this report consolidates all your selections into one comprehensive view.

This page acts as your summary output — the place where all insights come together, ready for review, export, or sharing with stakeholders.

What this report shows

The report displays:

1. Your final progress toward the efficiency target

At the top of the report, you’ll see a complete view of your contribution toward your target.
For example, the screenshot shows:

  • Your selection: 100 FTEs

  • Efficiency target: 250 FTEs

  • Progress: 40%

This final bar reflects everything the user has chosen throughout the journey — across units, categories, occupations, tasks, and technologies.

2. All defined parameters

Every filter and selection applied throughout the workflow is displayed in a clean summary panel, including:

  • Organizational Unit

  • Job Family

  • Pearson Occupations

  • Tasks

  • Technology

Each parameter shows the current filter value (e.g., Filter name: All, or specific items selected).
This ensures full transparency of what shaped the final result.

3. Breakdown of your selection

This is the heart of the report.

It provides a detailed, itemised list of the selections that make up your preferred opportunities.
Each row includes:

  • Occupation & Job Family

  • Organizational Unit

  • Task Group

  • Sub-tasks

  • Technology & Impact Type (e.g., Automation or Augmentation)

  • Impact size (expressed using your chosen Unit of Analysis)

Switching between Chart view and Table view is still available here, ensuring you can visualise or list insights in whichever format works best.

4. Relative contributions by category

In addition to the itemised list, the report may also show a visual breakdown by category, such as:

  • Organizational Unit (e.g., 125 FTEs)

  • Job Family (115 FTEs)

  • Pearson Occupations (100 FTEs)

  • Tasks (95 FTEs)

  • Technology (95 FTEs)

This provides a clear view of which parts of the organisation contribute most to your opportunity profile.
